Chicka-chicka-pow-wow

I had a dream last night that nobody remembered my birthday.
I cried in my sleep.

Today I'm going to go and order a cake for myself: strawberry mousse cake from Mita. One, because at least if, god forbid, everybody else did forget, I will celebrate with my dog. Just the two of us. Second, because, well, I really like this cake. It's one of the yummiest cake I've ever tasted and I can only eat it once a year which is on my birthday, so screw you. I want cake!

Before my parents left my mum came to me and said, "We're leaving tomorrow, but your dad told me to come back soon so that you have mental support for your exam."
Me (scoffs): Mental support? I don't need mental support. I'd rather some privacy so maybe you two can stay in Jakarta or Pontianak until I finish my exams in June?
Mum: *Laughs*
Me: Why are you laughing? I'm serious.
Mum: Dad, Dad. Your daughter, ah... chasing us away for her exams.
Dad (walks in topless) : Oh really? Ok lor

They've been gone for two weeks now. In my plight to get rid of them and their nagging so that I may have a "condusive" environment to study, I realised that I have made sure they won't be around for my birthday. Crap. I miss them. Now no one's taking me to Tom's for dinner...
