This post is so overdued I forgot nearly half the witty things I had to say. But it's the last part of the Queen's Dec 2008 holiday, so I just wanna get over it and move on with the other amazingly interesting stuff that happenned while I was busy not blogging.
About that, my perfectly reasonable reason for the lengthy period o inactivity since my last post is as such:
I became aware that the last two posts occurred within one week - an unusually short periods in-between posts. So I thought to myself that this isn't good at all. It means that I have been spending more time blogging than usual, whereas this precious resource could have been used living life the way it should be lived, like reading online manga and not losing weight.
Congrats to Sean, by the way, for the 8kgs he lost. That's 8kgs and counting. Damn you.
Before I went gallivanting off to Jakarta, there was someone's 18th birthday I had to attend. The very-obviously-intoxicated birthday boy Sean Pui celebrated by calling a last minute dinner at Tom's. and for desert...
...Smirnoff Vodka - officially Sean's favorite now, though I still prefer Absolut Citron...
...and a cake from Hilton. After that we packed off to Senzo where I had my first Blowjob - baileys + white russian + kahlua + whipped cream and a cherry on top = awesomeness.
Oh, and Melvin ans Annete was there too...
A'kay. Anyway. I don't remember much about my trip to Jakarta...probably because of the lapse of time that passed since I came back. Ahem.
# I went to Bandung - my first time ever. First stop was Dago street which was flanked on both sides with Factory outlets. These are nothing like the cheap FOS in spring. You can find MNG and Zara in these places. Don't underestimate made-in-indonesia stuff.
I distinctly remember blacking out and when I came to, my wallet has half a million rupiah less and my suitcase just doubled in size...
# Went to some scenic lake tucked away in the mountains where the temperature was around 20 degrees or so. Me like. That's where I took this very epic photo with the lowly 2Megapixel camera in my phone. It wasn't an easy climb...
# I found this local delicacy somewhere around Jakarta. I used to love it when I was like...5, yet I never know what it's called. If anyone does, please tell me. I was so hapy when I found this, it was like a blast from the past.
I also found this sign in a cafe in Grand Indonesia.
So I was wondering for a minute. How do they make it? Perhaps they took a slice of Strawberry Cheesecake and dump it into a blender...splash in some coffee and hit the button then voila...strawberry cheesecake frappe.
My new Year was ushered by watching fireworks...atop my grandma's neighbour's roof. I found out I scratched a knee the next morning.
Yes...just goes to show that the insanity that is Cass follows wherever I go.
